Happy Easter!

He is risen!

It was a lovely Easter day here in Roseville. We went to church this morning, came home & hunted for 92 eggs in the backyard, then went to a friend's home for dinner. I'm not going to write a lot of details, as the photos will tell enough about today's activities. I will add that we only were able to find 91 eggs, so the hunt for that lost egg will have to take place another day.

Just add water?

We had a little project over the weekend that allowed for mixing, stirring, pouring, and molding. Then there was a little bit of stacking & balancing before the water started flowing. As you can see from the photos, everyone helped. We still have several backyard landscaping items to check off the "to do" list, but these are things that have been on the list for nearly 9 years, so what's the rush?!

Come on in, the water's fine!

The Smithlings were invited next door to swim in 90 degree water this afternoon. It was a beautiful day, despite very breezy conditions. Thankfully, the wind didn't "blow" the plans for the first neighborly swim of 2008. There was lots of laughin' and splashin' going on, so I don't think the kids even noticed the windy weather. Take a peek at the gaggle of goggles. :-)
