It was a beautiful, yet chilly, day at the Fountains in Roseville where several pieces from The Nutcracker were performed on the community stage. (It's a concrete stage, so pointe shoes cannot be worn during this performance. Oh, well!) This public appearance was to promote the upcoming Placer Theatre Ballet production. The audience gave the dancers a warm reception, so the goose bumps were somewhat reduced by the applause!
