HOT off the grill

Over the weekend, the temps topped the century mark every single day. Our thermometer is in the shade, and it was still reading an even 100 degrees.

"Mister" Millie kept her cool in the mist.

Despite the sweltering heat, Mark & Mr. Smith teamed up to grill several pizzas. It certainly felt hot enough to fry an egg on the sidewalk. I suppose that we could have tried to cook the dough on the pavement, but we opted for the Weber instead. The pesto chicken 'za was a favorite, and grilled Roma tomatoes were the crowning touch.

Yes, the final product tasted as good as it looks.
